Wedding Weekend Part 1

We left for Lake City on Wednesday with all of our stuff - tuxes, gift bags, 4 kegs, backpacks, dufflebags, computer, everything. The truck was weighed down and I started calling it the mexi ride. We arrived in Lake City around 2:45pm, got the marriage license and went to the ranch to figure out where we could keep the kegs cold. The river was lower and warmer than we expected and it would have been expensive to ice the beer for 3 days. We finally just decided to keep the the kegs in the river.
That night was a fun filled evening with the Bales families from Austin and great friends from Lake City. The steaks were delicious! The camp fire was pleasant and we saw so many shooting stars from the meteor shower. They were the most amazing stars I've seen in my life. This was just the beginning of memories being made and moments I'll never forget, the first night of our wedding weekend!
