Sweet Birthday & Birthday Sweets

Yesterday I turned 27 - it just doesn't feel like I'm getting older. I'm assuming that will change when ever I decide to have kids! I did have a great birthday weekend starting on Friday with a free Red Robin Burger and chocolate cake with sprinkles made with love from Jerica - YUM! Saturday was full of studying for the PE exam, but then to a delicious dinner out to Macaroni Grill, again filled with lots of tasty desserts, including my favorite Lemon Passion Cake and then two other specialties - the Chocolate Cake / Brownie and a free sample of the new Berry Tiramisu! Don't be fooled - there is more sweetness coming! Sunday was my actual Birthday March 8 and it couldn't have been a better day for climbing down at Shelf Road with a big group of wonderful friends! The skies were blue and the sun was shining, it was fantastic! When the arms were pumped and the feet tender, we headed back to the car where Christine and Kim lit the candles, Kelly popped open the growlers and it was time for MORE CAKE! Kim is the most excellent baker and made a lemon cake that was to die for. Thank you everyone who made it down to Shelf yesterday for my birthday, I truly appreciate it and am so happy we were all able to spend time together! I couldn't have asked for an all around 'sweeter' birthday! Thanks again everyone! XOXO
