Thankful for San Diego

Being Thanksgiving and all, I will just say that I am so thankful that Garrett got to join me for Thanksgiving in San Diego. It was his first time there, so it was more of an action packed type of vacatioin trying to see everyone and do everything rather than a relaxing vacation, but thats the way we like it! Rather than giving all the details, here's the short and sweet of it, leave the drama behind, and some photos of our funfilled Thanksgiving weekend.

We stayed with my fabulous Auntie Shirley and her family, Uncle Stu, Lauren and Megan, and Megan's roommate from UCLA came down also for the long weekend. We stayed up late, went out to coffee every morning for a latte fix, visited with family and friends, and ate yummy food the entire trip. We spent Thanksgiving Day with my dad's side of the family at the Grandparents house. We had a second Thanksgiving feast at 11pm that same night at the Kenson's. Friday was spent on Coronado riding cruiser bikes (YESSSS) and then at my mom's side of the family in Mira Mesa, again, at the Grandparents house - that was a BIG party and again, we gorded!

Saturday we went to the San Diego Zoo. We arrived a little late in the day, but still managed to see all we wanted to see - particularly the Pandas, and I especially liked the Koalas! I think the Pandas were Garrett's favorite (can you tell from the picture?)! Awwweee :)

We met up with cousins at PB Bar and Grill Saturday night - we didn't want to get shown up by our parents again that night ;) So, of course, that lead to being tired on Sunday, but nothing a latte or two couldn't solve! Overall, it was a fantastic time, I loved almost every minute of it! Oh thank goodness for San Diego
