i love this game

I love basketball and last week I had opportunities that come once in a lifetime! Monday was the rescheduled Phoenix Suns game that was postponed due to the blizzard in December. This game was a Christmas present and I knew the tickets were going to be awesome - 7th row behind the Nuggets bench! I was so excited to go and sit so close to the court! After having season tickets the past two years, its been a little disappointing this year to not go to many games at all, so this was a treat. The seats were amazing and I was happy to spend time with my dad.

I also got a call on Monday from one of my best friends wondering what I was doing on Wednesday. All I pretty much had planned was to watch the Nuggets on TV that evening. Little did I know that she wanted to actually GO to the game with me, which was strange since she doesn't even really like the sport. Of course I said yes, but I didn't have any tickets, so maybe she did? And did she EVER!! She received COURTSIDE - yes COURTSIDE - seats for the Wednesday night game from her boss!! I could NOT believe it and I was incredibly anxious and excited. I had never been on the actual court in my life and all growing up, my brother and I always wondered what it would be like to sit in courtside seats - and I no longer have to wonder, b/c I KNOW!! It was so mind-blowing to be that close to the players and actually be noticed by them. We also got the most of the tickets with the game going into OT (unfortunately we lost at the buzzer). Thanks so much for taking me Andie, it seriously was a once in a lifetime chance and I totally have bragging rights now!

And the bball week doesn't end there. I was thrilled to go down to Pueblo to watch Lorens play against CSU Pueblo Thursday night. It was close the entire game and Lorens played great, being the top rebounder on the team (yes he IS the point guard!). I'm always grateful to watch my brother play, he is a very talented athlete - of course I taught him everything he knows - wink wink! This is his last year of basketball, so its always a wonderful opportunity to go see him play.
